MVP Entertainment Inc. is a privately owned and controlled B.C. corporation designed to acquire, develop, produce and deliver innovative, entertaining and profitable television series, movies and new media of the highest quality for the North American and International marketplace

MVP Entertainment was incorporated in October 2000 by Robert Frederick (President and CEO), under the laws of the Province of British Columbia. MVP has achieved the status of a fully integrated global supplier of film and television entertainment. It brings together entities and individuals with established reputations to form a team that covers all aspects of financing, development, pre-production, production, post-production, sales, promotion and marketing. In 2005, MVP Entertainment formed a strategic alliance with veteran producer Michael Greenburg (Stargate SG-1, MacGyver), and his company Big Pix Inc. Greenburg and Frederick worked together for five years on MacGyver, forming a solid professional working relationship, which established the ‘gold standard’ for creativity, excellence and cost effective television series production in Vancouver. MVP’s combined management have been involved in more than $1 billion worth of film and television production.

MVP Entertainment Inc. has a related venture capital corporation, administered under the BC Small Business Ventures Act, www.mvpcapital.com, which is dedicated to raise funds for MVP Entertainment exclusively, and serve as a means of providing capital to fund the development of the company and enable the company to participate in financing its productions.

TRACK RECORD

The MVP management team has been instrumental in the successful production and completion of the following projects: Stargate SG-1 (Richard Dean Anderson), and Stargate: Atlantis Rising, for the SCI-FI Network. MacGyver and Legend for Paramount Pictures, Broken Trust (Tom Selleck) for TNT, the feature film Crying Freeman, with Davis Films and Toei, the Canada-France treaty co-production, Lifeline (Lorraine Bracco) for USA Networks, and the highly successful cable television movie Dad’s Week Off (Henry Winkler) for Showtime, which was co-developed and co-produced by MVP and Paramount Television. MVP also developed and co-produced 44 episodes of the television series Dead Man’s Gun for Showtime. MVP has recently completed production of the feature film The Wild Guys, a comedy that has been praised by audiences at 14 film festivals across North America, including 2 best picture wins at The World Of Comedy International Film Festival in Toronto and The California Independent Film Festival.

We strongly believe in the future growth potential attainable through access to the world’s largest supplier of television production, the major US networks (such as NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, WB, UPN) and cable operators (HBO, Showtime, TNT, TBS, MTV VH1, ESPN, FX, Sci-Fi). Combined with already established Canadian Networks and cable operators (Global, CTV, CBC, CHUM, The Movie Network, Movie Central & Super Ecran) as well as access to the foreign market through strategic relationships such as China’s Shenzhen Media Group. This will result in fully funded productions through worldwide pre-sales.
