She begins her frantic search with the bureaucracy of the French police which results in a horrifying discovery – traits des blanches, the “traffic in humans.” If Shelly has been abducted by slavers, there will be precious little time to find her before she disappears into the sex-trade’s world of degradation and addiction…or death.
Kits takes to the streets on her own in hopes of finding clues before it’s too late. She meets Patrick Lamy (JEAN-MARC BARR), a rough-edged French charter yacht skipper who has survived his own violent encounter at sea with the slavers, led by Yank (STEPHEN SHELLEN), losing his boat and his livelihood. After he remembers seeing a teenage girl with wild eyes, bound and gagged, Kits follows him on the slim chance it may be Shelly.
Lamy and Kits are fiery opposites with nothing but an enemy in common. Wary even of each other, Kits and Lamy join forces to recover the precious things they have lost. As they uncover the smugglers’ well-concealed trail and meet them face to face, they discover strengths they had no idea they possessed.
